Desde que se dieron a conocer las nominaciones al Oscar, se ha desatado todo tipo de reacciones en la comunidad tuitera mexicana. La mayor sorpresa, cual si fuera un 28 de diciembre, ha sido la presencia de Demian Bichir como candidato a mejor actor, apareciendo nada menos al lado de George Clooney, Jean Dujardin, Gary Oldman y Brad Pitt. Esta noticia incluso opacó la otra nominación azteca: Emmanuel Lubezki como mejor fotógrafo por su impecable trabajo en El árbol de la vida. Esta es la quinta ocasión en que el llamado Chivo entra en posibilidades de ganar la estatuilla, pues ya ha sido considerado por su labor en La Princesita, Sleepy Hollow, El Nuevo Mundo y Children of man.
Incluso, por pura probabilidad o justicia divina, llámenle como quieran, Lubezki parece cerca de quedarse con el Oscar, esto al margen de que la fotografía en el filme de Terrence Mallick es más que sorprendente.
Para muchos tuiteros causó indignación el hecho de que Tilda Swilton (We need talk about Kevin) quedara fuera de las nominaciones, y que en cambio el churrazo de la tercera parte de Transformers tenga posibilidades en tres categorías. También hubo quien extrañó a Leonardo DiCaprio, pues su papel como fundador del FBI en J. Edgar había tenido muy buenas críticas.
Por supuesto que las bromas no han dejado de fluir por el infinito TL. El usuario @zanassi apuntó: “¿nominaron a the tree of life como mejor protector de pantalla?”, mientras que @serpintado anotó: “Entre los 38 Bichir, hacen 15,657 películas al año. ¡Ni modo que no!”
Aunque la mayoría de usuarios mostraron alegría por la nominación de Bichir, no faltó quien le restó méritos al actor, como el caso de @OMGio_, que de planó escribió: “No sé si Bichir está nominado al Oscar o al TV y Novelas”.
Como ocurre siempre, muchas de las películas nominadas aún no llegan a México, así que les dejamos la lista completa para que estén al pendiente de los estrenos que seguro comenzarán a llegar muy pronto.
